1. Our Commitment
BibleYes is built on a simple promise: we do not sell your data. Ever. Your information is used only to provide and improve the Service — nothing more.

- Bookmarks & saved verses — to preserve your personal highlights
- Account preferences — such as theme and translation settings
For all users (logged in or not), we collect standard web analytics such as page views, which browser and device you use, and general location (country/region). This data is anonymous and used only to improve the Service.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- Payment information — all payments are handled securely by Stripe
- Precise location data — we do not track your GPS or precise location
- Contacts — we never access your phone or email contacts
- Sensitive personal information — we collect only what’s necessary
4. Cookies
BibleYes uses minimal, session-based cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (such as dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.
5. Third-Party Services
BibleYes uses trusted third-party services to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
- Vercel / Netlify — website hosting and deployment
- OpenAI — powers the AI Assistant feature (privacy policy)
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. BibleYes shares only the minimum data necessary for these services to function.
6. AI Assistant & Your Queries
When you use the BibleYes AI Assistant, your queries are sent to OpenAI for processing. Please do not share sensitive personal information in your AI queries. Conversations may be used in aggregate to improve the Service, but are not linked to your identity for advertising purposes.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email hello@bibleyes.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
BibleYes is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@bibleyes.com and we will promptly delete that information.
